I've been trying to keep my journal relatively updated. (I'e been told it will help with my writing skills if i try to type up my thoughts n stuff like that- to get an idea across) So far I haven't done that good of a job (with either).
My best friend from highschool landed a job recently in Philli. He's gotten a nice cushy job at the bureau of labor and statistics.
Anyways...
He had to relocate ASAP as in the very next day after being notified.
And guess who got to use his tickets to Roger Waters....
..... and Tool!!
It was so fucking awesome! Roger Waters performed all of the old floyd songs along with some new ones, and his singing and stage presence were amazing! There was phsycodelic lighting and effects including a shitload of pyro-technics! It was an awesome time.

Absolutely everyone was singing along and really getting into it. There must have been a giant weed smoke cloud floating directly over the audience. At one point Waters brought out the giant floating pig. That thing was awesome. Somewhere in western Pennsylvania someone's going to wake up with a giant pig in their yard with "Impeach Bush" written on its ass. LoL Those damn leftwing hippie rock stars. My favorite song he played was 'Set the controls for the center of the Sun'. Friggin awesome!
Then on tuesday i went down to the Petersen Event Center in Pitt to see tool! I'll tell ya... i've never seen a higher concentration of goths/punks. Well, not since I saw evanescence that is. Anyway, Tool was friggin awesome too! The whole stage was a giant canvas: Not just teh backdrop of the stage, but the stage itself was a giant screen. There were images projected onto the stage, like phsycodelic images at times or they had the patented Tool Zombie humaniod things doing stuff. ( I'm not good at describing things, but it was awesome!) There was a hell of alot of fog and they had lasers too. They would project paterns and move with the music. If I would have jumped up I could have touched them at one point!
They played my favorite Tool song, "The Pot", second in their set. And of course, they played "Vicariously" as one of their encores.
Did you know Maynard has a mowhawk and a cowboy hat?
